EZ-Dock SMARTBOX® Euthanasia Station
The EZ Dock System is an automated home cage euthanasia system. The docking station is available for Tecniplast Greenline GM500 or Emerald EM500 mouse cages, Allentown NextGen and NexGen MaxMouse cages, Optimice cages, Innovive Mouse cages and Techniplast Rat GR900 cages. The euthanasia cycle starts automatically when the cage is docked, and will shut off automatically if the cage is removed during the cycle.

Smartbox® Prodigy Plus Lab Control Unit
The SMARTBOX® Prodigy Plus Touch Screen Controller allows administrators to program an unlimited number of cages and sizes, all while an administrator only needs to select the flow rate percentage. The EA-36000P will automatically calculate the required flow rate. An unlimited number of password-protected users adds even more flexibility. Each user can only see the cages authorized by the administrator. The user can connect up to 3 cages at one time. The Touch Screen display shows the cycle, cycle time, and total time remaining.By utilising the animals home cage and a slow fill rate (10-30% per min) for the procedure this system is designed to provide rodent CO2euthanasia with minimum stress. Using simple touch screen controls the Prodigy System allows the administrator to program an unlimited number of cage sizes with pre-set flow rates and dwell times that cannot be changed by the users.
EA-31000 Single Cage Output – Single Preset Time
The EA-31000 Single Cage Output with Single Preset Time is designed for small scale use by individual researchers in their laboratories. The operator automates on/off gas flow at the push of a button, delivering CO2 to an individual chamber or Euthanex Cage Lid. Includes programmable charge and dwell time. The run and ready lights visually indicate operation and completion.

The EA-32000 Single Cage Output with Two Preset Times is designed for small scale use by individual researchers in their laboratories. The operator automates on/off gas flow at the push of a button, delivering CO2 to an individual chamber or Euthanex Cage lid. Includes programmable charge and dwell times for two species. The run and ready lights visually indicate operation and completion.
EA-32002C Two Cage Output – Individual Start
The EA-32002C Two Cage Output unit with Individual Start automates on/off gas flow at the push of a button, delivering CO2 to individual induction chambers or Euthanex Cage Lids. The EA-32002C is designed for small scale use by individual investigators in their laboratories. The Controller has two separate and independent gas outputs – allowing up to two cages to be euthanized individually or staggered. This feature increases the user efficiency when individually euthanizing a large number of animals. The run and ready lights easily indicate outputs in operation. Operates at a fixed flow rate based on the external CO2 source.
Euthanex recommends pairing Flow Restrictors with our lids or Sure-Seal Chambers for the EA-32002C to avoid the need to adjust the incoming flow rate as the number of cages connected changes. Flow Restrictors are chosen according to your cage size and installed into the Euthanex lid or Sure-Seal Chamber. Using consistent pressure, the AVMA compliant flow rate will be delivered to each cage – regardless of the number of chambers in use
