RSP-8004 Round Smart Probe for IMI
The RSP-8004 Smart Probe is specifically designed to read IMI-400, IMI-500 and IMI-1000 read-only transponders and to integrate with the DAS-8000 Data Acquisition Systems for collecting animal identification and additional data. The Smart Probe can be handheld or placed in a probe holder for hands free use.

The RSP-8005 Smart Probe is specifically designed to read and program IPT-300 programmable and IPTT-300 programmable temperature transponders and to integrate with the DAS-8000 Data Acquisition Systems for collecting animal identification and additional data. RSP-8025 Round Smart Probe for XPT/IPTT
The RSP-8025 Smart Probe is specifically designed to read XPT, IPT and IPTT programmable transponders and to integrate with the DAS-8000 Data Acquisition Systems for collecting animal identification and additional data. The Smart Probe can be handheld or placed within a probe holder for hands free use.
Booster Coil
The Booster Coil is recommended for improved reading and programming of XPT- 100, IPT-300 programmable and IPTT-300 programmable temperature transponders whilst in the needle assembly. It can be used with the DAS-8027IUS Reader and RSP-8005 and RSP-8025 Smart Probe.
Wireless Com Module
The Wireless Communication Module makes it possible to send the collected data to a computer wirelessly. Communication with the computer can go via Keyboard USB, requiring no software driver or Serial USB requiring software driver and DASHost software. For simple data transfer, connect via Keyboard USB, open the application you want to work with and transmit data. The reader will act as a keyboard, entering data at the cursor position. Data scanned or downloaded will automatically populate data fields. The Com module is included with the DAS-8006P ireless Reader System and is optional for the DAS-8006IUS and DAS-8027IUS Readers.

DASHost™ Communication Software
DASHost™ Communication Software presents a simple method of transferring data to your computer. This Windows application is the interface between BMDS readers and PC’s. It is a menu driven software solution enabling users to receive, control and route data from various sources such as transponders, scales, calipers and more. Data can be saved to a file or inserted directly into widely used applications such as Microsoft Excel™ – or virtually any other program.
DCS-1 Digital Caliper System
The DCS-1 Digital Caliper for measuring tumor masses and other soft tissues in laboratory animals has a clear digital read-out and a serial port for data transfer. It can be connected directly to a computer, but it can also be plugged into various BMDS reader systems, thus allowing the user to match animal identification data with the corresponding caliper measurements. The caliper is equipped with a “constant force mechanism”, ensuring that all objects are measured with identical pressure. This way, the caliper measurements become completely operator independent.
DCS-2 Digital Caliper System
The DCS-2 Digital Caliper for measuring tumor masses and other soft tissues in laboratory animals has a clear digital read-out and a serial port for data transfer. It can be connected directly to a computer, however it can also be plugged into various BMDS reader systems, thus allowing the user to match animal identification data with the corresponding caliper measurements. It is equipped with specially accomodated jaws to protect the animal from injuries.
FSP-7005 Flat Smart Probe
The FSP-7005 Flat Smart Probe can be connected to the Data Acquisition Systems. It can read / programme the IPT-300 programmable transponders and IPTT-300 programmable temperature transponders. The unique shape of the FSP-7005, with its flat profile and flexible mounting options is designed for automated scanning and other non-handheld applications. Its unique triangle shape allows the user to maximize the field strength relative to the transponder orientation, resulting in easy and accurate scanning.
